Maipo Valley Wine and Food Trail: La Quirinca, Labranza and Undurraga

About This Experience
Stamp's Tour picks you up from hotels and Airbnbs in central Santiago, Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura and Recoleta from 7:30 am, and drops you back at around 6:00 to 6:30 pm. The day lasts about 10 hours in an air-conditioned minivan, with a guide in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
It starts between the hills and the Maipo River with a taste of traditional Chilean breakfast foods. The first winery is Viña La Quirinca, a family farm where you see the vineyards, production area and cellar, meet the alpacas, llamas and chickens that help keep weeds and pests down, and taste wine and pisco. From there a trail through avocado fields leads toward the river and a second family vineyard, where three wines are poured outdoors among the vines and old barrel cabins.
Lunch is at Labranza Restaurant, where the chef cooks seasonal ingredients over the fire in front of you. House pisco sour and beer brewed with Andean water are on the drinks list. Whether the meal is in your price depends on the option: the Full wine trail option includes lunch, while the No Lunch included option leaves you to pay on site. Coffee and cocktails are not included on either.
The day ends at a historic estate that the itinerary links to Viña Undurraga, with gardens, old cellars, a final tasting and time in the winery shop before the drive back. Shared departures need at least four passengers, and the operator may cancel after confirmation if that is not met, offering an alternative or a full refund.

Excellent tour, knowledgeable guide with perfect English speaking skills, and comfortable passenger van. Great wines at Undarraga Vineyard and very friendly hospitable hosts at the family farm.

The half day tour was not filled so they put on full day tour which was Fantastic. The first winery was lovely. We tasted the different grapes, then wine and excellent guide. After to a fabulous restaurant Zinfandel; then to an eco farm winery. We had a ball…people from all over the world!

Frequently Asked Questions
Which wineries and stops are on this food and wine trail?
The day opens with a Chilean breakfast tasting near the Maipo River, then Viña La Quirinca, a family farm with alpacas and llamas, for wine and pisco. A trail through avocado fields leads to a riverside family vineyard for three wines outdoors. Lunch is at Labranza Restaurant, and the last stop is a historic estate the itinerary links to Viña Undurraga.
Is lunch at Labranza Restaurant included?
It depends on the option. The Full wine trail option includes lunch at Labranza Restaurant, where the chef cooks seasonal ingredients over the fire. The No Lunch included option has the same route, but you pay for your meal on site. Coffee and cocktails such as the house pisco sour are excluded on both options, so budget for them separately.
Where does pickup happen and at what time?
Pickup is from hotels and Airbnbs in Santiago Downtown, Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura and Recoleta, starting from 7:30 am. Stamp's Tour emails the exact pickup time around 8 pm the day before. If you cannot get to your email, you can contact the operator by phone or WhatsApp. Drop-off is back at your accommodation around 6:00 to 6:30 pm.
Which languages does the guide speak?
The listing offers guiding in English, Spanish and Portuguese. On a shared departure the group can include travelers who speak different languages, so the guide may switch between them during the day. If you need the commentary mainly in one language, ask the operator when you book and before the pickup details are sent.
Can the tour be cancelled for low numbers?
Yes. The listing sets a minimum of four passengers. If fewer book, the operator can cancel after confirmation and will offer an alternative or a full refund. You can also cancel yourself for a full refund up to 24 hours before the departure time. Bad weather is not listed as a reason the operator would cancel this tour.
How is it rated and how much does it cost?
The tour is rated 4.8 from 69 reviews on Viator and starts from $135 per person, with free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead. The price depends on whether you choose the Full wine trail option with lunch or the No Lunch included option. The listing previously ran as a shorter Concha y Toro trip, so older reviews describe a different day.
