Which Maipo Valley wine tour is right for you?
All 14 Maipo Valley wine tours from Santiago on this site compared by wineries, lunch, group, length and price, with a pick for each need.
For most people planning a wine day from Santiago, Chile, the choice comes down to how much of the day you want to give it. For a full day, book the Maipo Valley Wine Tour: 4 Wineries, Pisco Tasting and Optional Lunch: about 10 hours with pickup from your hotel or Airbnb, tastings at La Quirinca, Santa Ema, TerraMater and a last stop at Undurraga or Viña Ballek. It is from $119 per person and rated 4.9 from 2,725 Viator reviews, the most-reviewed Maipo wine tour on this site.
For half a day at the most famous name, book the Marqués de Casa Concha Tasting at Concha y Toro: 5 hours by Turistik bus from a Santiago meeting point, with six Marqués de Casa Concha wines and four premium wines in a private room. It is from $135 and rated 4.9 from 1,223 Viator reviews. The other tours here change one thing: a private car, lunch in the price, a cheaper single winery, a winery inside the city, or an evening with dinner. Prices are “from” figures per person as checked in October 2026, and the live price is always on the booking page.

Questions that narrow it down
How much time do you have? The Maipo wineries are close to Santiago, so you can choose anything from about an hour at Cousiño Macul to a 10-hour day at four wineries. A half day at Concha y Toro or Undurraga takes 4 to 5 hours.
How many wineries? Most full-day tours visit two to four. Every half-day tour visits one.
Shared or private? The tours that are not private run from $25 to $143. The private tours on this site run from $90 for Cousiño Macul to $636 for three estates, and the three private full days all include a meal.
Do you want lunch in the price? Most shared tours leave lunch to you or include it only on one option. The private full days include it, and the Alyan sunset tour includes dinner.
Hotel pickup or a meeting point? The Turistik trips to Concha y Toro and Cousiño Macul leave from Plaza de Armas, Las Condes or Parque Arauco. If you want collection at your door, pick a tour that says hotel pickup.
Picks by need
A full day at several wineries
The four-winery day is our default. Stamp’s Tour collects you from 7:30 am, and the first stop, La Quirinca, is a family farm with alpacas and llamas where wine is poured alongside Chilean pisco. Santa Ema and TerraMater follow, with TerraMater’s Zinfandel restaurant around 12:30. The Premium Route ends with the full Undurraga tour, and the Traditional options end at Viña Ballek by the Maipo River. Lunch is in the price only on the Traditional + Lunch Included option. The same operator sells it on GetYourGuide from $149, with 4.8 from 620 reviews. 4 winery tours compares the multi-winery days.
Food first: the wine and food trail
The Maipo Valley Wine and Food Trail is the same company’s slower day, from $135 with 4.8 from 69 Viator reviews. It opens with a Chilean breakfast tasting, visits La Quirinca, walks through avocado fields to a riverside vineyard for three wines outdoors, and stops at Labranza Restaurant, where the chef cooks over a fire. Lunch is included only on the Full wine trail option, and the guide speaks English, Spanish or Portuguese.
Half a day at Concha y Toro
The Marqués de Casa Concha tasting is the most-reviewed Concha y Toro tour on this site. The walk covers the century-old park, the Casillero del Diablo cellar, the Guarda del Alto cellar and the Garden of Varieties, then ten wines with a cheese board. It is also on GetYourGuide from $135. For a shorter tasting of four premium wines on the same Turistik route, the Premium Wine Center Tour is from $105 with 4.8 from 934 reviews. If you would sooner be collected at your hotel, Ruta Chile’s Concha y Toro tour is from $82, with three tastings and a premium option that adds Marqués de Casa Concha wines with cheese; it is rated 4.3 from 557 reviews. See Concha y Toro tours from Santiago.
Two big names in one day
Concha y Toro and Undurraga Vineyards Tour is from $76, but read the options. The two-winery option runs 9 to 10 hours with a lunch break of about 1.5 hours that you pay for; the Undurraga-only option takes about 4 hours. Several reviewers booked expecting both wineries and went only to Undurraga, and at 4.0 from 201 GetYourGuide reviews it has the lowest rating on this site. See Concha y Toro vs Undurraga.
Undurraga on a budget
Undurraga Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Hotel Transfer is from $60, the lowest price on this site for a tour with hotel transport, and rated 4.8 from 92 GetYourGuide reviews. Undurraga’s own guide leads a tour of about 1.5 hours with a tasting, and you keep a glass. The driver does not speak English, so the English guiding happens at the vineyard. Meals are not included. If you have a car and a driver who will skip the tasting, the winery’s Sibaris tour ticket is from $37 at the estate. See Undurraga winery tours.
Short on time: Cousiño Macul
Cousiño Macul sits inside Santiago, in Peñalolén. The winery’s own Heritage Wine Tour is the lowest-priced tour on this site, from $25 with 4.9 from 167 GetYourGuide reviews: 1 to 1.5 hours through the cellars, with three wines tasted along the way, or six on the Premium option. You make your own way there. An English-only version is on Viator from $27. For a door-to-door private visit, the Cousiño Macul private tour is from $90 over 4 hours, with starts at 10:00 or 14:30. The Bahá’í Temple and Cousiño Macul tour adds the temple in the Andes foothills in 3 hours from $96. See Cousiño Macul winery tours and half-day wine tours.
A car of your own
The private Concha y Toro, Santa Rita and Undurraga tour covers three long-established estates in 10 hours, with an à la carte lunch paired with Reserva wine at Doña Paula and pickup from your hotel, the airport or the bus station. It is from $636 per person and rated 5.0 from 31 Viator reviews. The private Aquitania and Santa Rita tour is from $290, also 5.0 from 14 reviews, with a boutique tasting at Aquitania, a Chilean lunch with vegan options and Santa Rita’s Museo Andino, for up to 8 people. For something other than tastings, the private horseback ride follows the Maipo River and climbs into the hills, then serves a country grill with wine and ends at Miraflores organic winery, from $585 with a minimum age of 14. See private Maipo Valley wine tours.
An evening with dinner
The Alyan Family Wines Sunset Tour spends the late afternoon and evening at a family-run boutique winery in Pirque, per the listing. Pickup is between about 15:00 and 15:30, you taste six Alyan wines with snacks around sunset, and an informal dinner is included before drop-off around 22:30. It is from $143 with 4.7 from 80 GetYourGuide reviews, and it is not suitable for under-18s. See Alyan Family Wines.
Know before you go
- Lunch money. Unless your tour or option includes a meal, bring money for lunch or eat before a half-day tour.
- Age. Chile’s legal drinking age is 18, and several listings ask for a passport or ID at the tasting.
- Pickup. Stamp’s Tour sends the pickup time after 8 pm the night before. Turistik asks you to be at the meeting point 15 minutes early.
- Minimum numbers. The two Stamp’s Tour days need at least four passengers; if that is not met, you are offered an alternative or a full refund.
- Changes. The order of the winery visits can change on the day, per the four-winery listing.
- Layers. The valley can be visited year-round; bring sun protection for the day and a windbreaker for the evening.
- Driving. Chile’s zero-tolerance law treats 0.3 grams of alcohol per litre of blood as under the influence, so a tour means nobody in your group has to stay sober.
- Cancellation. Most listings here show free cancellation up to 24 hours before; check the terms on the booking page.
