The Experience
Hotel transfers, a guided Concha y Toro visit, a lunch break and Undurraga's tour with three reserve wines.
Nine to ten hours from hotel pickup in Santiago, on the Concha y Toro and Undurraga option.
On the booking page, select Concha y Toro and Undurraga, the two-vineyard option of 9 to 10 hours. The other option, Viña Undurraga Only, lasts about 4 hours and skips Concha y Toro. Check the price shown for your option before you pay.
The driver collects you from your hotel in Santiago around 8:00. At Concha y Toro a guide meets you at Plaza Don Melchor with a glass of wine, walks you through the old park past the Casona and serves a Cabernet Sauvignon before the visit ends.
After Concha y Toro there is a break of about an hour and a half for lunch. The meal is not included in the price, so bring cash or a card for it. Gratuities are not included either, and the listing does not name a restaurant.
The afternoon stop is Viña Undurraga, where a winery guide leads a tour of about one hour and fifteen minutes, followed by a tasting of three reserve wines. You keep a complimentary glass, then ride back to your hotel in Santiago.

WINERY COMPARISON
History, what each visit includes, price, time from Santiago and how to see both.
Pick Concha y Toro if you want the longer visit, with the Casillero del Diablo cellar and the option of a Marqués de Casa Concha tasting. Pick Undurraga if you want a cheaper, shorter half day with hotel pickup. If you cannot decide, you do not have to: the Concha y Toro and Undurraga Vineyards Tour visits both in one 9 to 10 hour day with hotel pickup, from $76 per person with 4.0 from 201 GetYourGuide reviews (October 2026), as long as you choose the right option.
That last point is the one to get right. The listing sells two options under one title. The Concha y Toro and Undurraga option visits both wineries. The Viña Undurraga Only option lasts about 4 hours and never goes to Concha y Toro. Several reviewers booked the second while expecting the first and said the title misled them. To see both wineries, select Concha y Toro and Undurraga on the booking page, and check the price shown for that option, since the listing does not say which option the $76 starting price belongs to.
Melchor Concha y Toro, a Chilean lawyer, politician and businessman, founded his winery in Pirque in 1883 and brought vines from the Bordeaux region. Francisco Undurraga Vicuña founded Viña Undurraga in 1885 on the Fundo Santa Ana in Talagante, also in the Maipo Valley. Both visits include a walk through a historic park. Concha y Toro’s is a 22-hectare centennial park around Casa Don Melchor. Undurraga’s was designed by the French landscaper George Henri Dubois.
Each winery has a story it tells visitors. At Concha y Toro it is the Casillero del Diablo legend: the founder’s best wines kept disappearing, so he spread a rumour that the Devil lived in his cellar. Undurraga says that in 1903 it became the first Chilean winery to export to the United States, sending a box of Pinot to each of the 45 states. Concha y Toro says it sells wine in more than 130 countries, and Drinks International ranked it 10th in its World’s Most Admired Wine Brands 2025.
At Concha y Toro the visit is longer and more staged. On the Concha y Toro Premium Wine Center Tour you spend about 3 hours at the winery: the park and the outside of Casa Don Melchor, the Casillero del Diablo Sensory Experience, the underground cellar, the Guarda del Alto cellar, a viewpoint over Pirque and a Variety Garden that the listing says holds 24 grape varieties, ending with four premium wines. It starts from $105 per person, holds 4.8 from 934 Viator reviews and leaves by bus from a meeting point in Santiago, not your hotel.
At Undurraga the visit is shorter. The winery puts its own Sibaris tour at about an hour, and the operators list it at about 75 minutes. The Sibaris ticket listing describes the park, vineyards, cellars and a Mapuche exhibition, ending with three reserve wines. On the Undurraga Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Hotel Transfer, an Undurraga guide leads a visit of about an hour and a half, followed by a tasting, and you keep a gift glass. It starts from $60 per person with hotel pickup in central Santiago, Las Condes or Providencia, holds 4.8 from 92 GetYourGuide reviews and takes about 4 to 4.5 hours door to door. The driver does not speak English; the English-speaking guide is the one at the vineyard.
One reviewer who visited both on the same day described Undurraga as smaller but very charming, and the pairing as a good one.
Undurraga is the cheaper visit with hotel pickup: from $60 per person, against $82 for the Concha y Toro Vineyard Tour with Transfer and Tasting, which holds 4.3 from 557 GetYourGuide reviews and includes three wine tastings. Both take about 4 hours or a little more. The Concha y Toro listing allows about an hour in the van each way to Pirque; the Undurraga listing allows about 1.5 hours out and 75 minutes back. Undurraga is about 35 to 40 km from Santiago.
If you want the fuller Concha y Toro tasting, the Marqués de Casa Concha version of the Turistik tour starts from $135 per person and pours six Marqués wines and four premium wines with a cheese board. Our Concha y Toro tours page compares every Concha y Toro option, and the Undurraga winery tours page does the same for Undurraga.
Book the Concha y Toro and Undurraga Vineyards Tour and select the Concha y Toro and Undurraga option. The driver collects you from your hotel around 8:00. At Concha y Toro a guide meets you at Plaza Don Melchor with a glass of wine, walks you through the old park past the Casona, the family’s historic house, and serves a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon before the visit ends. A lunch break of about an hour and a half follows, at your own expense. In the afternoon an Undurraga guide leads a tour of about 75 minutes with three reserve wines, and you keep a glass. The day runs 9 to 10 hours.
Know what you are buying. The 4.0 rating is lower than the single-winery tours, and the written complaints are mostly about the option mix-up and about communication between the driver and the organisers. The listing says the tour is not suitable for children under 12 or for people with limited mobility.
Two other full days include one or both wineries. The Private Maipo Valley Tour: Concha y Toro, Santa Rita and Undurraga adds Santa Rita and an included lunch at Doña Paula, from $636 per person with 5.0 from 31 Viator reviews; see our private wine tours page. The Maipo Valley Wine Tour: 4 Wineries, Pisco Tasting and Optional Lunch includes Undurraga but not Concha y Toro, from $119 per person with 4.9 from 2,725 Viator reviews; our 4-winery tours page explains that day.
Undurraga runs its Sibaris tour every day, in English at 10:00 and 15:00 and in Spanish at 10:00, 11:30, 15:00 and 16:30. The longer Founders tour, about 90 minutes, runs Monday to Saturday at 12:00, and the wine shop opens daily from 10:00 to 17:30. The winery says you can reach it by bus to Talagante from Terminal San Borja, next to Metro Estación Central. The Undurraga Winery Sibaris Tour Ticket on Viator starts from $37 per person, with 4.7 from 103 reviews, and you meet at the winery on Camino a Melipilla, Km 34, in Talagante.
Concha y Toro sells its visits at enoturismo.conchaytoro.com, which also shows opening hours. The usual public-transport route is Metro Line 4 to Las Mercedes, then a taxi or local bus.
If you drive, keep in mind that Chile’s Zero Tolerance Law treats 0.3 g/L of blood alcohol as driving under the influence. A tasting at either winery can take you past that, so let the designated driver skip the wine.

"The reservation title clearly says CONCHA Y TORO AND UNDURRAGA, but the sightseeing tour only takes you to Undurraga. The place is not bad, but the title makes you feel deceived."

"I believe that communication between the driver and the organizers should be clearer."

"It was perfect. Excellent guide on the estate, beautiful gardens, cultural and wine, a very good time."

"Everything was great, but when I bought the tour, I thought we would visit both Concha y Toro and Undurraga, as stated in the tour title. However, we only went to Undurraga. The place was very nice and the wine tasting was excellent, but we thought we would be able to eat at the vineyard restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to look into it beforehand, and there wasn't a restaurant there. So, the title and description weren't very clear, but it was still a nice experience."

"Our visit to Undurraga was just perfect. The English speaking guide, Bianca, was so lovely and knowledgeable, and her English was perfect. The wines we tasted were delicious, and the winery was so beautiful. I was confused by the listing and was expecting to visit both vineyards, so I was disappointed to only have one tour, but the one tour we had was just lovely. I highly recommend visiting Undurraga for a tour and tasting."

"The car was very comfortable and Pablo explained many things to us. He was always friendly. He waited for us and gave us directions so that the day would be perfect."
"The visit is excellent! The winery is beautiful, and there is always a guide (from the winery itself) leading the group, explaining and answering questions. Tasting of 3 excellent wines, and stopping by the store to purchase wines (at great prices). I highly recommend the tour."
"The tour to Concha Y Toro is definitely worth it. The wines are delicious and the place is beautiful. The Undurraga winery is smaller but very charming, the combination of the two is perfect. The private car makes everything more comfortable and you can do the tour at your own pace. Joana (the guide) was very punctual."

Which winery to pick, how to see both in a day, prices, tastings and getting there from Santiago.
Visit Concha y Toro if you want the Casillero del Diablo cellar, about 3 hours at the winery and the option of a Marqués de Casa Concha tasting. Visit Undurraga if you want a cheaper, shorter half day with hotel pickup, a guided winery tour and a tasting. If you have a whole day, the Concha y Toro and Undurraga option of one tour visits both.
Yes. Book the Concha y Toro and Undurraga Vineyards Tour and select the Concha y Toro and Undurraga option: hotel pickup around 8:00, both wineries and a lunch break, 9 to 10 hours in all. Do not pick the Viña Undurraga Only option, which lasts about 4 hours and skips Concha y Toro. Several reviewers booked it by mistake.
Undurraga. In October 2026 the Undurraga tour with hotel transfer started from $60 per person, against $82 for the Concha y Toro tour with hotel pickup and $105 for the Concha y Toro Premium Wine Center tour from a Santiago meeting point. The Concha y Toro and Undurraga tour started from $76, but check the price of the two-vineyard option.
No. On the two-vineyard option there is a lunch break of about an hour and a half between Concha y Toro and Undurraga, and the meal is at your own expense, as are tips. One reviewer on the Undurraga-only option expected a vineyard restaurant and did not find one there, so eat before you set out if you choose the shorter option.
At Undurraga the two-vineyard tour and the Sibaris ticket list three reserve wines. At Concha y Toro it depends on the tour: four premium wines on the Premium Wine Center tour, three tastings on the hotel-pickup visit, and six Marqués de Casa Concha wines plus four premium wines with a cheese board on the Marqués tour.
Concha y Toro, by two years. Melchor Concha y Toro founded his winery in Pirque in 1883 with vines from the Bordeaux region. Francisco Undurraga Vicuña founded Viña Undurraga in 1885 on the Fundo Santa Ana in Talagante. Both visits include a historic park, and Undurraga's was designed by the French landscaper George Henri Dubois.
Yes. Undurraga runs its Sibaris tour in English every day at 10:00 and 15:00, and in Spanish at 10:00, 11:30, 15:00 and 16:30. On the Undurraga tour with hotel transfer the driver does not speak English, but the vineyard guide leads the visit in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Our Undurraga winery tours page lists every option.
Yes, though not easily on the same day. Undurraga says you can take a bus to Talagante from Terminal San Borja, next to Metro Estación Central. For Concha y Toro the usual route is Metro Line 4 to Las Mercedes, then a taxi or local bus. Book Concha y Toro visits at enoturismo.conchaytoro.com, where opening hours are shown.
You can, but the driver should skip the tastings. Chile's Zero Tolerance Law treats 0.3 g/L of blood alcohol as driving under the influence. If one of you drives to Undurraga, the Sibaris tour ticket on Viator starts from $37 per person and meets at the winery in Talagante. See our Concha y Toro tours page for tours with transport.
