How a Concha y Toro Half Day Works
Five hours from your Santiago meeting point and back, about three of them at the winery.
Pick a meeting point
Choose a date and one of three Turistik meeting points: Monjitas 879 near Plaza de Armas, Av. Vitacura 2653 in Las Condes, or Parque Arauco. There is no hotel pickup, so plan how you will get there and arrive 15 minutes before departure.
Bus to Pirque
The shared Turistik bus, with up to 28 travellers, takes the group to the Concha y Toro Wine Center in Pirque. The listing gives 5 hours in all, so expect a fair part of the trip on the road and at the meeting points.
Park and cellars
About 3 hours at the winery start with the century-old park and the outside of Casa Don Melchor, then the Casillero del Diablo Sensory Experience, the underground cellar, the Guarda del Alto cellar and the viewpoint over the Pirque vineyards.
Tasting and return
After the Variety Garden, which the listing says holds 24 grape varieties, you taste four premium wines and keep a Concha y Toro glass. Plaza Concha y Toro has places to eat and a wine shop before the bus takes you back to your meeting point.

Concha y Toro Tours from Santiago: How to Choose
Standard or Marqués tasting, meeting point or hotel pickup, half day or full day.
If you want one Concha y Toro visit from Santiago and no complications, book the Concha y Toro Premium Wine Center Tour. It starts from $105 per person, holds 4.8 from 934 Viator reviews, and covers the park, the Casillero del Diablo cellar and a tasting of four premium wines in about 5 hours. If the tasting is the reason you are going, pay $30 more for the Marqués de Casa Concha Tasting at Concha y Toro: the same route plus six Marqués de Casa Concha wines and a cheese board, with 4.9 from 1,223 Viator reviews, the most-reviewed Concha y Toro tour on this site. Prices were checked in October 2026, and the booking page shows the live figure.
Both tours are run by Turistik and leave by bus from a meeting point in Santiago. If you want to be collected from your hotel, or want a second winery in the same day, the sections below cover those tours too.
What you see at Concha y Toro
Melchor Concha y Toro founded the winery in Pirque in 1883 and planted vines brought from the Bordeaux region. The visitor centre, the Centro del Vino, is at Virginia Subercaseaux 210, Pirque, with a 22-hectare centennial park, Casa Don Melchor and the historic Casillero del Diablo cellar. The legend told in that cellar is the company’s own: the founder’s best wines kept disappearing, so he spread a rumour that the Devil lived there. Drinks International placed Concha y Toro 10th in its World’s Most Admired Wine Brands 2025.
On the Premium Wine Center tour the walk takes in the park and the outside of Casa Don Melchor, the Casillero del Diablo Sensory Experience, the underground cellar, the Guarda del Alto cellar, the Mirador viewpoint over Pirque and the Variety Garden, where the listing says 24 grape varieties grow. The four premium wines come at the end, and you keep a Concha y Toro glass. The visit finishes at Plaza Concha y Toro, which has places to eat and a wine shop.
Standard or Marqués de Casa Concha tasting?
The two Turistik tours share the bus, the route and the 5-hour length, about 3 hours of it at the winery. The difference is the final tasting.
- The Premium Wine Center tour pours four premium wines. From $105 per person.
- The Marqués de Casa Concha tour adds a tasting in a private room of six super-premium Marqués de Casa Concha wines on top of the four premium wines, served with a cheese board. From $135 per person.
Marqués de Casa Concha launched in 1976 as a tribute to the family’s noble title of 1718, and its first release was a 1972 Puente Alto Cabernet Sauvignon. The extra $30 per person buys six more wines and the cheese. One reviewer who took the regular tasting called it three small sips and recommended the premium version. The private room is for the tasting only; the tour itself is shared, with up to 28 people on the bus.
The Marqués tour is for adults only. On the Premium Wine Center tour children can travel with the group, but for anyone under 18 only the transfer is included.
Hotel pickup or a meeting point?
Neither Turistik tour collects you from your hotel. You choose a meeting point when you book (Monjitas 879 near Plaza de Armas, Av. Vitacura 2653 in Las Condes, or Parque Arauco) and arrive 15 minutes early. Several low-rated reviews of the Premium Wine Center tour complain about time lost to waiting and transfers, so plan for a half day out with some waiting built in.
If you want a car to your door, the Concha y Toro Vineyard Tour with Transfer and Tasting starts from $82 per person and takes about 4 hours: an hour in the van each way and about two at the winery. The guided visit is the winery’s own, run by Concha y Toro staff, with three wine tastings, and a premium option adds four Marqués de Casa Concha wines with cheese. It holds 4.3 from 557 GetYourGuide reviews, lower than the Turistik pair, and nobody under 18 can join.
Concha y Toro plus a second winery
A Concha y Toro visit fits in half a day. Two tours fill the whole day with more wineries.
The Concha y Toro and Undurraga Vineyards Tour sells two different options under one title, and reviewers who picked the wrong one have said so. Choose the option called Concha y Toro and Undurraga. The other option, Viña Undurraga Only, lasts about 4 hours and does not go to Concha y Toro at all. On the two-vineyard option the driver collects you from your hotel around 8:00, you visit Concha y Toro, break for about an hour and a half for lunch at your own expense, and finish with a 75-minute Undurraga tour and three reserve wines. The day runs 9 to 10 hours.
The listing starts from $76 per person without saying which option that price belongs to, so check the figure for the two-vineyard option before you pay. It holds 4.0 from 201 GetYourGuide reviews. Our Concha y Toro vs Undurraga page sets the two wineries side by side.
For a private day, the Private Maipo Valley Tour: Concha y Toro, Santa Rita and Undurraga visits three estates with a wine specialist guide and includes an a la carte lunch with Reserva wine at Doña Paula, Santa Rita’s restaurant. It starts from $636 per person, holds 5.0 from 31 Viator reviews and runs 10 hours, with pickup from Santiago hotels, the airport or the central bus or train station. Our private wine tours page explains how private pricing works.
The night tour, for Spanish speakers
Turistik also runs the Concha y Toro Night Tour and Dinner Show, from $207 per person with 4.8 from 239 Viator reviews. A costumed character, Don Isidro, leads the group through the gardens and the Casillero del Diablo cellar in the evening, with a welcome sparkling wine, three Casillero del Diablo wines and a three-course dinner at the Wine Bar with two more glasses. There is no hotel pickup. It is guided in Spanish only, and a reviewer on the GetYourGuide version of the same tour, who did not speak enough Spanish to follow it, left one star for that reason. Book it if you follow Spanish comfortably; otherwise take a daytime tour.
Half day or full day?
Pick a half day (the Premium Wine Center, Marqués or hotel-pickup tour) if Concha y Toro is the one winery you want to see, or if you have plans for the afternoon in Santiago. Pick a full day if you want to compare estates: the two-vineyard option above, the private three-winery day, or a four-winery tour that visits smaller producers and Undurraga in place of Concha y Toro. Our half-day wine tours page compares the other short trips from the city.
Going without a tour
Concha y Toro sells its own visits at enoturismo.conchaytoro.com. The current list includes the Visita Guiada Premium (also sold with Marqués de Casa Concha, Cellar Collection or Concha y Toro tastings), a Diablo Wine Sunset and a Casillero del Diablo night experience with dinner. Check opening hours and tour lengths on that page. By public transport, the usual route is Metro Line 4 to Las Mercedes, on Avenida Concha y Toro, then a taxi or local bus. If you plan to drive, Chile’s Zero Tolerance Law treats 0.3 g/L of blood alcohol as driving under the influence, so a tour with transport is the simpler choice for anyone who wants to taste.

"The vineyard itself is nothing special to be honest, very average and the tasting also. I got sick from having one of the empanadas at the vineyard snack place. Concha y Toro Tours from Santiago: Frequently Asked Questions
Prices, tastings, transport, age limits and how to combine Concha y Toro with another winery.
In October 2026 the Concha y Toro tours on this site started from $82 per person for the hotel-pickup visit, $105 for the Premium Wine Center tour from a Santiago meeting point and $135 for the Marqués de Casa Concha tasting. The night tour with dinner starts from $207 and the private three-winery day from $636 per person. Check the live price before you pay.
Plan on a half day. The Premium Wine Center and Marqués de Casa Concha tours last 5 hours, about 3 of them at the winery, and the hotel-pickup visit takes about 4 hours, with an hour in the van each way. Full-day tours that add Undurraga or Santa Rita run 9 to 10 hours from pickup to drop-off.
Only some do. The Turistik tours, including the Premium Wine Center, Marqués and night tours, leave from meeting points at Plaza de Armas, Av. Vitacura in Las Condes or Parque Arauco. The Concha y Toro Vineyard Tour with Transfer and Tasting, from $82 per person, collects you from your hotel and brings you back, as do the two-winery and private tours.
The route is the same: the park, Casa Don Melchor from outside, the Casillero del Diablo cellar, the Guarda del Alto cellar and the Variety Garden. The standard Premium Wine Center tour ends with four premium wines. The Marqués tour adds six super-premium Marqués de Casa Concha wines and a cheese board in a private tasting room, for $30 more per person.
Not on the half-day tours. The Premium Wine Center tour excludes food, though the visit ends at Plaza Concha y Toro, which has places to eat. The Marqués tour serves only a cheese board. The night tour includes a three-course dinner, and the private three-winery day includes lunch at Doña Paula. See our private wine tours page for that day.
It depends on the tour. On the Premium Wine Center tour children can ride with the group, but for anyone under 18 only the transfer is included, not the winery experience or tasting. The Marqués de Casa Concha tour and the hotel-pickup visit are for travellers aged 18 and over only, so carry a passport or ID card to show your age.
No. The Concha y Toro Night Tour and Dinner Show is guided in Spanish only. A costumed character leads the group through the gardens and the Casillero del Diablo cellar, followed by a three-course dinner at the Wine Bar. One reviewer on the GetYourGuide version who did not speak enough Spanish gave it one star, so book a daytime tour if you need English.
Yes. The Concha y Toro and Undurraga Vineyards Tour visits both in 9 to 10 hours with hotel pickup around 8:00, but only if you choose the Concha y Toro and Undurraga option. Its other option, Viña Undurraga Only, lasts about 4 hours and skips Concha y Toro. Our Concha y Toro vs Undurraga page compares the two wineries.
Yes. Concha y Toro sells its own visits online at enoturismo.conchaytoro.com, which also shows opening hours. The visitor centre is at Virginia Subercaseaux 210 in Pirque. By public transport, the usual route is Metro Line 4 to Las Mercedes, then a taxi or local bus. Do not drive after tasting: Chile's limit is 0.3 g/L of blood alcohol.
